Welcome to My Little Cues

My Little Cues was created to help tired new parents gently track feeds, sleep, nappies and routines, so the little moments feel easier to remember.

When you have a new baby, people tell you that you will be tired. They tell you that the days and nights might blur together. They tell you that feeds, naps and nappies will become part of your everyday rhythm.

But until you are living it, it is hard to explain just how much there is to remember.

When was the last feed?

Was that nappy wet, dirty, or both?

How long did they sleep for?

Did they seem unsettled after that bottle?

Was today different from yesterday?

These are small questions, but in the middle of newborn life, they can feel huge.

My Little Cues was created from that very real place. Not from a perfect routine. Not from a calm, organised spreadsheet. But from the everyday reality of being tired, trying your best, and wanting to understand what your baby might be telling you.

As parents, we quickly realised how easy it is to forget the little details. Not because you do not care. Not because you are doing anything wrong. But because newborn life is full on. You are feeding, changing, soothing, winding, settling, washing bottles, doing nappies, answering messages, trying to eat, trying to sleep, and somehow trying to remember what happened three hours ago.

That is where the idea for My Little Cues began.

We wanted something simple. Something calm. Something that did not make parenting feel like a performance. A place where parents could quickly record the basics, feeds, sleep, nappies and routines, without feeling overwhelmed by charts, pressure or judgement.

Because tracking should not feel like another job.

It should help you feel a little more reassured.

My Little Cues is being built around the idea that the small moments matter. A feed here, a nap there, a nappy change, a pattern that slowly starts to appear. On their own, these moments can feel random. But over time, they can help parents notice their baby’s natural rhythm.

It is not about forcing a routine.

It is not about comparing your baby to anyone else’s.

It is not about doing everything perfectly.

It is about helping you feel a little more confident in the middle of it all.

Because sometimes, just knowing when the last feed happened can make the next hour feel easier. Sometimes, noticing that naps are shorter in the afternoon can help you understand why your baby feels unsettled. Sometimes, having a simple record means you do not have to keep everything in your head.

And when you are tired, that matters.

My Little Cues is for real parents. The ones doing night feeds. The ones checking nappies. The ones second-guessing themselves. The ones wondering if they are doing enough.

You are.

We are creating My Little Cues to be a gentle companion through those early days, a simple way to track the little things, notice patterns, and feel less alone in the newborn haze.

Because babies give us cues all the time.

Sometimes, we just need a calmer way to notice them.
